Week In Review – June 27, 2009

  • Sharebar

Well another week in the books and we are almost half way through 2009. Where has the time gone?

Hope you are on track for a great year. If not it is time to start taking focused action and get back on track.

Now to the blogs.

WordPress Made Easy

(Clarification – It is a physical product and there is a shipping charge) This is a test and after Monday it will no longer be free. The people behind this are first class and can really help you.

Accelerated List Building – If you are not building your list or not at the speed that you would like then you need this action plan. Great report with easy to follow action steps. Full review further down on the blog.

Spider Language – Google is one of the best ways to get free traffic but only if you know how to speak the language of their spiders. Get the 40 top secrets of spider language to increase your share.

Saturday Seven – Each week end I will be putting up a very special deal for just $7. It will only be live from Saturday through Monday and then it will disappear. So look for a new one each week. This week it is 50 Adsense WordPress Themes for your niche sites with Master Resell Rights.

Other Ponderings – Rambling from the Old Bald Guy

One of the things that causes people to fail in building an online business is information overload. It comes about because you never take the time to complete anything.

Learn to shut off your email, messengers and all the distractions for set periods of work. Look at the items on your to do list and what you can complete this week and just finish them.

Don’t be distracted by the next shiny objection If you can’t use something right now ignore it. If it is any good it will be there when you do need it or something else will be that is better.

This rambling sounds funny coming in a post where there are more than one shiny objects but there are a wide range of readers here. Not everything I talk abut is for every person.

Each person is at a different point and I try to let each of you know exactly who different things fit. If it fits check them out but if it is something that is going to cause you a new learning curve ignore it for now.

Get out of learning mode and just do it. Your business will grow much faster and the fog will lift.

Have a great weekend.

Another great week for content creation & providing helpful resources, Mike – people would be wise to subscribe to your RSS feed or at least bookmark this blog and check back each week – if time is tight, checking your week-in-review posts will point them to the info they need. Keep up the great work!

Another busy week for you Mike. I love the way your Turtles look at life – there’s always a lesson there. What I’ll take away from your blogs this week is 1) to get away for the learning mode and just do it 2) from your turtles – learn what your customers want by having a good tracking system and give it to them.
    Thanks

    Great week in review Mike.

    Lot of great info there.

As far as your ‘ramblings’ go, you make a great point. ‘Just do it’!

I know from experience (as I’m sure we all do) that you can definitely get caught up in information overload very easily. In fact I’ve had a little of that going on this week and it has affected my business.

It’s time to get my rear end back in gear and kick it up a notch!

Thanks for the motivation as always ;-)

Yes, a lot of shiny objects. But you are right. I need to stay focused on my current project. I know you will have some more great items next week. I appreciate your weekend review though. It lets me catch up if I got too caught up in the grind.

Another week, more stuff to look at, so many new launches and video’s to watch. You are right so much stuff to look into and to learn from but you need to keep focused on your own goals or they drift away…
