There is a reason Marlon Sanders is one of the top LONG term marketers. He always uses humor and his good old boy personna to generate traffic. He creates solid products that are usable.
What’s more is that this is a product that I use a lot more than I thought I would. I bought Design Dashboard when it first released because I didn’t believe that anyone could put together something that would help an Old Bald Guy improve his pages.
That is something I have always outsourced. I don’t have the time or inclination to become a great graphics guy. I stick to what I am good at. (Yes there actually are a few of those. ;-).
However, being ready to launch a product or needing a quick graphic for a squeeze page and not being able to finish it because I need a simple thing has always been one of the most frustrating things for me.
Despite working with good graphics guys they tend to be busy. You can’t expect them to drop what they are doing and pop out that little text graphic right then.
In a day or two if you are lucky, but not right then.
What happens then is I spend more time finding and ordering the simple things and worse the project gets delayed. Sometimes by the time I get it back and test it I find it wasn’t that great of an idea anyway. But you don’t know til you try.
That is the type of thing that Design Dashboard has allowed me to overcome. Need that quick graphic -done. Need a full site design - well that still gets outsourced.
Check out the toilet man page. Pay attention to the marketing principles used there and look for how you can apply that to your business in your voice.
Then if you are like me and frustrated with the time and effort you spend on small design things - check out Design Dashboard.
