Well only one more week and the time changes to daylight savings time here in the US. The days are getting longer and we are looking at possibly hitting the 50’s here tomorrow. May lose a foot or so of that white stuff in the back yard this weekend.

This week I started paring down the people I follow on Google Buzz that do not add quality content and just use it to repeat what they have already said on Twitter. Buzz has some real power and the potential is huge but not as a way to rebroadcast your Twitter tweets. There is the real chance to build solid relationships on Buzz and few are taking advantage of it.

Add in the Google Social Search and there is a real value in adding quality information. Even a brand new item can show on the first page of Google for the people that follow you. To see the real potential on Buzz I do recommend you grab Google Social Search Secrets. I have followed Tinu for a few years and she has been in front of most of the changes for driving traffic and rarely misses. If that is the case here you definitely need to understand this.

Week In Review – February 27, 2010

Wow been lots of white stuff here to keep me busy and a light coating coming down as I am typing this. Guess I will need to go snow blowing a bit later today.

That and working on a new project has been keeping me quite busy. Jerry Reeder and I will be doing some neat things starting in about 2 to 3 weeks that will help you. It will include a membership site and some very special conferences. Not quite ready but you can get on the access link if you check out List Building Conferences.

I am running a poll on the WordPress blog and the results have been interesting so far. If you have not taken it check it out in the “How Can I Help You” post below and leave your input.

Week In Review – February 20, 2010

Been extremely busy and fortunately this week I did not lose a lot of time to dealing with the white stuff although more is forecast for this Monday evening. All in all a normal February here in Pennsylvania.

Finishing up the third week of Powerstart 2010 class and improving some of the things that I do from it but really impressed with what some of the new members of the class have been able to accomplish. Highly recommend it if you are struggling to get your business going.

It has been interesting to see how Google Buzz has taken off and working on ways to use it even more effectively. Grab the free report Quickly And Easily Get More From Google Buzz (no opt in needed) but I do recommend you get on the update list for it. Already creating notes to improve it.

Wow! What a week it has been. Over 3 feet of snow between 2 storms and the Google created a storm with Buzz. Add in Val;entine’s Day tomorrow and it has been an interesting week to say the least.

Now for putting up with me and stopping by regularly I just created a report on “Quickly And Easily Get More From Google Buzz“. Click the link and it will take you to a page where you can download it with no opt in needed. My gift to you.

Even though Google is late to the party the way it is tied into Gmail this looks like it will have legs. Now enough of that and on to the blogs. A few extra this week as I missed last week’s review.

Week In Review – January 30, 2010

Well there is one more day left in January so time is definitely flying. I really hope your year is off to a great start and that you have set your plan and started to take action.

Hit a small speed bump this week that set me back a bit but was a great kind of speed bump. Her name is Olivia Paige she is the youngest Paetzold and arrived on Monday evening.

Because of her arrival it messed up a couple days of what I had planned this week. I did get the chance to go down and pick up my Mom and take her to see her great grand daughter. That was worth any delay in my business to me.

Of course while we were there we did need to spend some time with her older sister too who has not quite figured out if all the waiting for which she was very excited is a good thing or a bad thing.

Now there is a lesson to be learned there. Maddie was more excited last month about the arrival of her baby sister than she was about Santa coming.Now that it is here it is not quite what she had bargained for and starting your business is a lot like that.

You look forward to being your own boss and then you find out it is not easy being the boss and keeping motivated.In the end you adjust and Maddie will adjust and you come to love it but at the start it is not quite the rose garden you thought it would be.

It is the ability to just take off when little family speed bumps come along that makes it really worthwhile so take the action daily to get the freedom you desire.

47 Hearts Launching February 14th

Yes for those that are like me Valentine’s Day is not far away so time to remember before you get in big doo doo. Done that once and not likely to forget again .

On that day Dr Mani will be launching his new book “47 Hearts” the profits of which will go towards charity.

Each year I have gotten involved with Dr Mani in February for either a blogathon or tweetathon to help raise funds for Congenital Heart Defects. This has enabled Dr Mani’s foundation to fund heart surgery for 47 children suffering from congenital heart defects. You can find out more here.

Week In Review – January 16, 2010

Well two weeks into 2010 and I am still trying to write 2009. Old habits die hard but so far it has been a great start to the new year and decade.

Yesterday I did the last post for the blog tour and it has been a great time. While it was a bit of work to crank out an extra 5 posts a week it was good to travel around the internet.

Being publicly accountable had an advantage too. It eliminated procrastination and the need to be perfect. One of the reasons I think it is important to have an accountability partner.

Somehow when you have told someone else what you will be doing it gets done much more often than when you tell yourself.

Week In Review – January 9, 2010

Wow the new decade is upon us. I started to write 2009 and had to correct it. Guess it has not quite sunk in yet.

The Week In Review is something that I am considering let go as part of the many changes I am doing in my business for this new decade. Not sure yet, but your comments will have a lot of weight so if you enjoy this weekly digest leave a comment below and let me know.

This is the first one of the new year and actually the first one in 3 weeks. I took some time off over the holidays and a lot of that was in planning for the new decade and deciding what was going to stay and what was going to change. Scroll down a post or two and you will see what I am talking about.

Week In Review – December 19, 2009

The year is rapidly heading to a close and here in PA when I look out the window I see the first major snow storm of the year covering things quickly. Christmas is less than a week away. Where has 2009 gone?

This will probably be the last Week In Review for this year as I am slowing down for the next two weeks to spend time with family and friends. (Slowing down but not stopping by any means.)

I have been doing a lot of review work and planning for next year and one of the things I have been doing is looking at what I use regularly. There are tons of new products released each week, some I recommend and others I don’t.

For the rest of the year though I wanted to go through the products that I deem “Evergreen” and use in some cases almost daily. Look for those reviews between now and the end of the year.

Now to the blogs before we all go into holiday mode.
