If you look around at those who are “super successful” in Internet Marketing, you’ll find they all have one thing in common…

** They all have their own information product pipeline!

In other words, they have a lot of products that they sell.

* Small reports
* Webinars
* Coaching classes
* Physical products
* Membership sites

The list goes on and on.

They have something for every budget from $17 to $1,700 (and beyond!)

And when they spend time and effort to find a new customer, they get order after order because of their “pipeline” of products!

Mr. Customer starts out buying a cheap $17 product. They like it. They buy a medium priced product at $47-$97. Like it. They join a monthly membership site. From there they buy a high-ticket coaching program or physical product.

Soon, they’ve bought almost everything offered by the marketer. They anxiously await new products. And they buy them – often without even reading the sales letter.

The question is…

Are you the CUSTOMER or the MARKETER in that above scenario?

There’s no reason why you can’t be the person with the entire empire of products that others buy from you!

Learn how at Infoproduct Pipeline

If you want to create a “pipeline” of your own products that you sell for $17, $47, $97, $1,497 (and more!) then Jimmy D. Brown can help you.

Jimmy has created hundreds of products since he became a full-time internet marketing back in August 2000. He knows how to find out what people want, how to create those products quickly and how to convince people to buy over and over again.

He can show you how to do the same thing!

You’ll learn how to create it all: Kindle ebooks, membership sites, small reports, webinars, physical products, coaching programs, eclasses and much more!

Get all the details at Infoproduct Pipeline

IMPORTANT: Currently there is an offer at the site where you can get a free copy of his $997 home study course Infoproduct Mastery if you join quickly!

One of the things I have used over and over to help build my business is “How To” reports. These are perfect for helping your subscribers and everyone is always looking for simple reports on how to do whatever is causing them a problem.

Because of that they are excellent for using as a gift for building your list and at the same time preselling certain services.

They can be a bit of a pain to put together though. You need to create a variety of screen captures and detailed step by step details to walk your reader through exactly how to do a particular task.

That is one of the reasons I have come to love the PLR reports from DIYplr.com. Alice Seba and her crew attack a variety of topics and then do all of the hard work of doing the screen captures, writing out the steps for a variety of items.

You just need to do a bit of editing. Add a title page, maybe create a quick ecover, add your affiliate links and author bio.

Saves you a lot of time and effort but allows you to create quality how to reports that you can use in multiple ways.

Right now she has packages available on the following topics but as they are all limited it changes frequently.

Online Backup & Storage

Google Checkout

Facebook Social Plugins – Advanced

Whats New with Facebook Pages

Facebook Social Plugins

Social Media Integration

Twitter Widgets

and many more

At the low price she offers these for they are a great value and time saver. I have used numerous packages and strongly recommend them. If you are looking to create how to reports (and you should be) then these are something to really check out and use to save time and create professional reports.

Well another day, another launch. Sitting here watching the emails roll in about Local Mobile Monopoly, the product of the day. Now this is not a knock on that product as I have no idea if it is good, bad or indifferent.

It may be the greatest thing since sliced bread. It may not.

My point is that I have a business model and that is what I am working on. Makes it much easier to eliminate the noise.

So the question of the day is do you have a business model?

Now there are numerous business models that work online but…

If you haven’t decided what yours is you are really likely to be attracted by all of the latest and greatest products. Maybe they fit and maybe they don’t. The only way to know is to have decided on your business model first.

If you have you can use my favorite question when looking at all of the latest offers that show up in my email box every day.

Will this help improve what I am doing in my business TODAY?

If the answer is not yes then forget about it. You don’t need to look any further. If it is not something that you can add to your business right now then leave it alone until it will.

I know you don’t want to miss the opportunity because…

there are limited number of spots

the price is going up

yada yada yada

If the product is worth while and you need it 3 months from now and pay more what did you lose?

If you grabbed it and let it sit on your hard drive until you did would you even remember you had it when the time came that you could actually use it?

Nine times out of ten your business as it grows will move in other directions or someone will have a better tool when you get to the point that you need it.

Even of you end up buying the item at 4 times the price all the money you saved on the 9 out of 10 that you never use will still be a savings overall. That does not count the amount of time you will waste through distractions from creating your actual business.

How many times have you started, spent a little bit of time trying something then gotten into a totally different business model because of the latest shiny button?

Hey the marketers, myself included will always use limited numbers, price bumps, etc. to make our products sell better because it works.

If you really look at it though staying the course and building your actual business model out and only getting what you need will save you time and money in the long run. Even when you miss a “deal” along the way.

So back to the original question – What is your business model?

When you can answer that question you will be well on your way to the success you are seeking.

Private label rights can be like a coin flip. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. It is because of two reasons that people either love PLR or hate it. Often it is because of the quality they received or they think that private label rights means no work.

The first part may be very true if you don’t find quality PLR. There is a lot of crap being sold as PLR. That is one of the reason I started a blog just to highlight quality PLR vendors that I use.

If you get quality PLR when you start then your job becomes easier. There are a number of quality vendors out there. Some of my favorites are…

Nicole Dean at Easy PLR

Alice Seba at DIYplr.com

Nicole Dean and Melissa Ingold at Coaching PLR

Rosie Cottis at Flamillion PLR

And there are quite a few others featured at The PLR Secrets blog along with announcements of their latest releases.

If you start with quality PLR you can win much more easily if not you lose and complain.

That is only half of the solution to getting the most from PLR and becoming a raving fan (like I am) instead of complaining.

Here is the part where I lose a lot of people. You have to edit and adapt it. Yes, that dang 4 letter word WORK is coming into play once again.

Now it does not have to be hard and thanks to those that are still reading. I know I lost a few when I mentioned that W word.

PLR is a time saver but it is not a big red button.

Most PLR, even the best quality is written without personality. If it was you couldn’t use it unless your voice matched it. You need to do some editing to get your personality in it before you use it.

If it is an article, add you in it and use it for blog content or any other place you need content like your Squidoo lens, etc. I do not recommend you use it for article marketing unless you have completely rewritten the content. It will get denied by the better article directories.

If it is a report, take the time to personalize it to you. Edit it, add your own links and make it yours. Often I will take two or more and make a more complete report and do it in half the time it would take to do it on my own.

If you buy a PLR product then you need to do the same things. Add your personality to it, change up the sales letter, add your own bonuses, edit the graphics and make it yours.

Not sure how to do it? Check out PLR Tutorial Videos from Doug Champigny for a complete easy to follow how to.

So if you grab a lot of the crap that is out there you will be joining the crowd of people that complain about PLR, but if you grab quality and put a little effort into it, you will have found a great way to save time building your business.

I made my choice. What is your choice?

Erik is looking to do more in a few niches and get away from the internet marketing arena. Now I started Erik in podcasting a few years back when we did a podcast together.

The only IM service he is continuing is a new free site that fits right into what first brought him into view in the IM arena. It is called 7 Minute Websites.

It contains over 30 step-by-step tutorials.

Once you get inside, Erik will show you EXACTLY how to crush every single technical roadblock you’ve been facing…

Need to build a blog? A small business website?

Want to dabble with some affiliate marketing?

No problem.

If you are struggling with the “technical” aspects of trying to get a website (or work at home business) up and running, you need to check out 7 Minute Websites

To be perfectly clear here – Erik does have an optional upgrade to a monthly course that’s really affordable and you should definitely consider it and yes I get paid on it but here is plenty of quality free information too. The choice is yours.

Once again life has been interfering with my plans. Just seems to happen that way. Expected this done last week but it is finally moving forward.

Back to setting up my sales funnel for the Article Marketing For Beginners product.

Started by brain storming some ideas for a free report.

One of the things I know from past experience is that the key is to just get it done. Then test and tweak it.

I created a report and titled it “5 Mistakes That Will Implode Your Article Marketing Efforts“. This covered 5 of the biggest mistakes that people make that keep them from being successful in their article marketing efforts.

Next step was to create a cover for the report and create a squeeze page to give the report away. Of course that meant I needed some other pages too.

So I ended up creating…

A squeeze page

A confirmation page

A download page

Finally I needed to create some follow up emails. Now that I have the first couple of emails done it is ready to start testing. The first test was to actually sign up and go through the process myself to make sure that everything is working.

At this point I am ready to start sending traffic to it. The easiest way is to do an email ad swap with someone. From past experience I know what type of sign up rate I should get and once I know for sure that it is working well then there are other things to do.

First step though has been to create the report and start testing it. I may need a new title or a better squeeze page but the key is to get started now.

Send the traffic, see the results and then start making changes. It is way too easy to keep tweaking things towards perfection and never actually get the report out there.

Besides the ad swaps I will start setting up traffic funnels to it even before the tests are done through article marketing, Hub Pages, Squidoo pages, etc.

So off to start the testing. Once I am happy with it then all of my efforts will go into other avenues like making it rebrandable and giving this system to my affiliates.

Can only do that once I know I have something that works and converts well. Will walk through the rest of the steps once the testing is done.

One of the things that always surprises me is how you can get week’s where there are very little new things to get excited about and then you find there are times when there is a plethora of opportunities.

The last 24 hours have been one of those feasts.

If you use or sell (your own or like me as an affiliate) PLR (private label rights) this has been a good time period.

Two of my favorite PLR vendors have released products in the last 24 hours that got me excited.

The first is a coaching course from Melissa Ingold. Now Melissa has created a couple of these and they are really totally complete.

You can find more out about it at Coaching – The PLR Secrets.

The second one is a brand new PLR report on using PLR from Nicole Dean. Regular readers will know Nicole as she has visited here for a week on her Rockstar Blog Tour. She is one of my favorite PLR creators and the quality she puts out is among the best around.

This is a perfect giveaway for anyone looking to sell PLR products and is one that I grabbed immediately.

You can find more out about it at PLR – The PLR Secrets.

Finally in this same 24 hour period was something new that was unique and is a perfect example of how you can twist something people use all the time into a different type of item.

This is from Alice Seba and she titled this package “Get Your Kids to Eat Vegetables PLR Bundle “. This is a package of 4 recipe reports with images on different ways to sneak vegetables into your kid’s diet.

Something I know can be a real problem for some. Then you have other kid’s like my grand daughter who loves vegetables which is a real surprise. She may look and act in some ways like her father but he was one I could have used these recipes to get to eat veggies.

For more details check out Kid’s Vegretales – The PLR Secrets.

So feast today of course that usually does lead to a famine somewhere in the future.

Lots of people talk about sales funnels so I thought it would be a good idea to actually watch one get set up piece by piece.

Recently I added a new product to my mix – Article Marketing For Beginners Made Easy. Now I am finally going back and starting to put a sales funnel together for it.

Truthfully, this should have been done right after I set up the sales page and emailed on it. Christmas and then lots of doc visits with Maude intervened and it has become time to get back in focus.

To do this I need to do a few things and will be going through in detail what I am setting up and why. The major steps are listed below. As I do each step I will be creating a blog post of exactly what I did and why.

1. Create a free report and squeeze page to distribute the report.

2. Create a follow up email series for the people that get the free report.

3. Create traffic to the squeeze page through a variety of ways.

4. Once the squeeze page system is tested and working make it rebrandable for my affiliates and give them the ability to use it to build their list and sell the product.

So look for the first two steps to be finished over the week end and I will be discussing exactly how I put it together early next week.

Have a great week end.

The Christmas holiday has changed the schedule around here. No Week In Review this week. That being said there are a lot of changes coming with the new year and it is a result of some of the planning I have been doing. I used the Goals 2011 that I recommend to get the ideas flowing.

You can grab a copy here. No opt in just download it and spend the time to go through it.

After going through that there are going to be some huge changes in what and how I am doing things.

More education and less of the big red buttons is what is needed. Too many people are trying to use tweaks without understanding the basics.

Don’t get me wrong, often these tweaks can make a huge difference but only for those that already have the basics in place.
