Getting in ahead of the curve

Yesterday I laid out a simple plan for starting a niche business. Today I want to talk about cyclical trends.
Certain things are dependable. Each fall as we get into September and October searches for things Christmas start to pick up. It happens each year and if you were going to get the traffic that it generates in that span you would want to start ahead of time. See the chart below from Google Trends.

So if you are going to set up a Christmas site it would probably be a good thing to get it going during the summer so that you can be indexed and create authority by the time the trend starts up.
The good part with cyclical niches is each year they follow a similar pattern.
Yesterday we talked about one such niche – boating. Again lets look at the chart from Google Trends.

You see a similar pattern year after year. Right now is the ideal time to start creating your authority in this niche so that come Memorial Day and the 4th of July this year you can be established and taking advantage of the increasing traffic pattern.
The best part is that once established adding a bit more content each spring can renew your rankings and allow you to continue to make profits year after year.

Apply the lessons from yesterdays post and get ahead of the curve for profits this spring and summer.
Two other items before I close this post.
Get in the habit of using the tools at Google Trends and the PLR Package is selling out quickly there will only ever be 100 offered. Spoke with Doug this am and over 25% went in the first few hours.
