Today is a good day to give back and here are three ways to do it and gain something for your self while helping others.

The biggest will probably be Joel Comm’s Twitter Power Tweet -A – Thon starting at 12 noon est and running til midnight. It will be raising funds for Water Is Life which provides clean drinking water for children.

There will be a number of celebrities, giveaways and much more across both Ustream and Twitter. Should be a good time for all and there are many lessons to be learned by watching how this is put together. Best of all it benefits kids.

The second item today is Ryan’s Tribute. I will be participating along with quite a few others to raise funds in memory of Jason Fladlien’s brother who dies of cancer at age 8. You will get some great training and help a family recover and honor a brave boy. Monday I will be doing a content filled teleseminar to help provide extra content for this. Hope to see you there.

Finally the American Cancer Society is something I support because that disease cost me my father. Jon Atwood is taking part in a fund raiser for them and if you care to contribute you can help Jon with this as part of the Hope on the Slopes campaign.

All three are good causes and I hope you will join me in supporting them.

First and foremost I hope you and yours are having a Happy Valentines Day. The bad part is it means we are half way through the second month of the year. What have you accomplished and are you staying focused. Has been a problem for me and I need to fix it now. What about you?

Unless you have had your head buried in the sand somewhere you have seen Frank Kern is up to a new launch. I am not participating and don’t plan to buy the product but you really need to study his process. You always get some great insight with his launches so pick the favorite person in your email box that is promoting it and check out the process.

Ockham’s Razor Income System was launched by Marlon Sanders. I loved the product for me but did a review of Ockham’s Razor Income System and strongly urge you to read that before considering the product. It is a super value for me but… You need some background before you try it.

WordPress Q and A on Blog Talk Radio has been scheduled for this coming Tuesday, February 17 at 7 pm est. More info coming but mark the date and time down.

I will also be doing a teleseminar with Jason Fladlien for his tribute to his younger brother Ryan he is running. It will be on Monday February 23rd at 8 pm est. Topics will be…

In the foreword to a new book, Mark Joyner points out that the internet marketing crowd may, on the surface, share some common features with a cult:

“A unique language understood only by those in the cult, “guru” figures of whom many blindly follow, and bizarre rites and rituals.”

Let’s see….

- Unique language: squeeze pages, optin rate, conversion rate, PPC, CPM, CPA
- Guru figures: enough said!
- Bizarre rites and rituals: launching new websites at the drop of a hat, constantly searching for better tools (which spring up every day), working at all hours of the day or night.

While Joyner’s comparison may in some sense be accurate, there’s another word that better describes this collection of eclectic individuals we know as “internet marketers”.

Family.

Skeptical?

Think about it: in what other business arena do the major players:

- Freely share their biggest “secrets”?
- Promote each others’ products and services?
- Sell to each other, and to each other’s customers?

I can’t think of any other business endeavor where successful business owners are so open and transparent with their colleagues and potential competitors (“newbies”).

And Joel Comm has now taken this transparency to a whole new level.

Joel Comm doesn’t seem to think so. He just released version 4 of The Adsense Code. Joel may have gone a bit senile this time though.

See the first 3 versions of The Adsense Code all retailed initially for $97. This time he has added all his latest tips and is selling it at $9.95.

The Adsense Secret

Now I am not sure how long he will have this low price but being an owner of the previous versions I know that what Joel teaches works.

If you are going to use Adsense this is something you really need to grab.
