If you are a product owner having a free report that people can get to join your list can be a great pre-sell item. The problem is that only you have a vested interest in distributing the report. If you make it so that it can be rebranded with your affiliates links it is much more likely to get wider distribution.

This makes it worthwhile for your affiliates to give the report away and more likely that people will find it and click the links to check out your product. The problem has been that it can be a royal pain in the you know what to set it up and for affiliates to actually do the rebranding.

I first started doing rebranding with a piece of software that was an exe file. You needed to go through multiple steps to get it to work and then it only worked on Windows machines. If someone uses a Mac they could not rebrand your report. Because of all the aggravation very few people went through all of the steps necessary to use these reports.

Kind of defeated the reason for making them rebrandable didn’t it.
