Yes that is the title of an email I just had to send to my list because of stupidity on the part of this Old Bald Guy. Please learn from my mistakes. Track and test everything. Then do it again.
Here is the text from the email -
“Boy am I ever embarassed. Talk about not following your own advice. Now you know that some have said that I am “anal” about tracking and testing. (They are probably right.)
Have even written a book about it. Then I go and violate my own rules.
The other day I sent out an up date about Responder Series.
I had just added some new features and changed things around a bit to make the navigation easier. The problem was that I did not test the new pages. After all when I split the page I just copied and pasted what was working.
Boy, was I a fool. Found out that the paypal buttons did not work for some of the items. Now you know why I am sitting here wiping the egg off of my face. It is not a good feeling.
The moral of the story is even when making simple (the only kind Old Bald Guy’s make) changes take the time to test them. If you tried to use the page my apologies and if you didn’t please check it out.
Well off to finish cleaning my face.

PS FYI the problem was caused by losing a “>” somewhere in the copy paste process. The little things always seem to get you.”
