Ockham’s Razor Income System Review – not for all
Just finished going through Marlon Sander’s latest product – “Ockham’s Razor Income System” and left a bit perplexed on how to review this product. See usually I can give an unqualified grab this and use this for any of Marlon’s products.
This one is different. For me and where I am at with a business looking to improve it this is one of the absolute best things I have bought in the last year or longer. I finished with pages of notes and a start of a plan to improve my business. This will need to be gone through consistently and applied over and over. Despite being an e-book there is more information in there that can be applied to improve my business than in some “big box courses” that I have paid 10-20 times more for.
So if you have a business and understand the basics of…
- Offering something free for an email
- Following up with people
- Selling them stuff
(Marlon’s basic business model) then this will be probably the most valuable product you can purchase dollar for dollar.
The problem is that you need to understand some of the how to’s to apply what is in here. For the new person this will be very confusing until you know how to create a squeeze page, set up an autoresponder, create a free giveaway or bribe to get signups. All of these are mentioned with an eye to how to make them deadly effective but not with any how to what so ever.
So if you are starting and things like autoresponders, creating a giveaway, setting up a squeeze page are all foreign to you this will help but only if you grab Promo Dashboard at the same time.
Promo Dashboard covers the how to and Ockham’s Razor Income System goes much more into the why and how to make them deadly effective. Without the background of Promo Dashboard or actual experience of setting up your own list building this just may leave you frustrated.
If you are relatively new this is what I would recommend -
Get both Promo Dashboard and Ockham’s Razor Income System. If you can only afford one just get Promo Dashboard. Read ORIS then start on the Promo Dashboard to apply what you have learned from ORIS. If you could only afford the Promo Dashboard then use it and once you have the money from your promotions get Ockham’s Razor Income System.
Finally, a caveat – Neither of these are a magic button and both will require a bit of effort. They are step by step and none of the things are hard but if you aren’t willing to put in effort and focus neither will help you. (Of course nothing else for sale online will either 
)
With that one caveat though Ockham’s Razor Income System is a great value and had it been packaged differently would have easily been sold at 20 times the price and still been a great value.

Great review – it’s your honesty in pointing out newbies need more training before using ORIS and the disclaimer that it will take time & effort that sets you apart from the bulk of online promoters. You’ve demonstrated your familiarity with the product and given people an honest snapshot of what to expect instead of just going for the maximum number of sales.
When smart marketers see a review like this, they know they’ve found someone they can trust, someone who gives them honest reviews of products they really have taken the time to check out first.
It’s no wonder you have such a loyal following, nor that it’s growing week by week – and have built yourself a reputation as one of the top go-to guys online. Bravo!

It’s reviews like this that make me want to take a second look at a product to purchase, you did a great job with the review. So many times you see fake or not really helpful reviews, which only turn you off of the product, but I like seeing honestly with great explanations about the product, thanks Mike!

Mike,
This review points out why so many budding marketers are following. An honest review with none of the fluff or other “stuff” that you read on other review sites. When I read one of your reviews, I know that I’m getting the great advice from a successful marketer. What I’m not getting is a pitch from someone pushing for the maximum number of sales.
When I initially read Marlon Sander’s sales letter I even had trouble figuring out what the product was about! Thanks for your straight forward approach.

It is not the overzealous sales pitch because this is a product that I absolutely love and will help me improve my business by leaps and bounds.
The problem is that you need to have some background before this will be valuable to you and that is what usually causes the problem.
Too often the background is not there so what is actually a great product with the background knowledge becomes a worthless one unless you get and fill in the background first.
