MP Marketing Tips May 2006

Sorry to be so late in the month but did spend some time traveling this month during the week that I normally publish this. Got to play some golf and eat some great Texas meals with my brother and his lovely wife then went on to Dallas for the Focus 4 Seminar. Needless to say that put this Old Bald Guy behind in getting this published so my apologies to all. First some updates and a new addition of an old recommendation that seems to have regained its focus.

Long time readers of MP Marketing Tips will see a new addition to the recommended list that was one of my original recommendations. It was dropped because the program had lost its focus. The focus has come back and it has added some things to make it a recommendation again. The program is MPAM and it is probably one of the better programs to train you how to build an actual business. They supply some good training and will show you how to build a profitable niche site. You can get one month to try it for free and an additional month for $1 so that you will sufficient time to see if this training fits your business model.

Direct Deposit Profits – Continues to be an excellent place to get started if you want to use resell right products and lack the html training to get sites up for you.

Kiosk - Now offering the ability to host up to 8 domains on their Platinum account with a conference room, access to their new web design tool and much more. Add in their support (absolutely first rate) and training along with their other features and you can’t go wrong.

Site Sell - Ken Evoy continues to offer the best value I have seen for someone to start a niche website and make it successful. It is an all inclusive package that includes hosting, domain registration and the tools to create a website with no HTML knowledge and most importantly the tools to do the research to make a profitable choice.

Opt In Master Course - An excellent guide to building your list. . It offers excellent support and ongoing seminars to help you build and manage a profitable list.

Stop! Take time to feed your mind TODAY! By Milke Paetzold

One of the biggest problems I have had with building and growing a business is getting bogged down in the daily grind. If you have an on line business there is always advertising to be done, email to be answered and projects to be completed.

Seems like there is never enough time in the day to get them all done. The to do list grows bigger each and every day.

Time management skills help to improve that. Unfortunately, that would take an entire series of articles to cover that topic. There is just one small aspect of that to be addressed here today. That is prioritizing yourself.

I can always tell when I stop feeding my brain. What I mean by that is taking the time to learn something new. If all I am doing is pushing to complete my to do list and working my butt off my mind starts to cramp.

Feeding my mind new ideas, differing viewpoints, in general anything to make it stretch is as important as exercising your muscles. Taking the time to read a book on a related topic to your business or on something you enjoy doing or would like to know more about, helps to keep your mind stretched.

It always amazes me how taking a half hour for me to improve my knowledge always comes back about 3-4 times over. If I take the time to do this each day I just become much more efficient once I settle down to work.

It is really hard sometimes, especially if you are up against a deadline, to make the time for yourself. The surprising thing is that when I do it even when I am sure it is time I can’t afford my mind just seems to focus and give back that time many times over.

Do yourself a favor and schedule yourself some time to exercise your brain every day and see if it doesn’t come back in increased efficiency for the rest of your day.

Schedule yourself in to your daily schedule as your priority number one.

Your mind will thank you.
