Have you ever wondered how to make money with your passion?
I get to talk to lots of relatively new marketers that are looking to make money on line. The problem usually is that they have absolutely no business plan.
Now I don’t know about you but I did that and have the t-shirt, coffee mug and much more. Yep, I was going to come on line and in 15 minutes a day retire if I just did x, y and z.
Of course everybody had their hand out for my wallet with the answers.
When I finally smartened up, I did decide on a business plan and have been following and modifying it ever since. Surprisingly, once I decided on a plan and started actually working on it my success changed too.
Trying to compete in the very tiny niche of internet marketing and selling to other marketers is extremely hard. Finding other areas that you have an interest in and a passion for allow you a much better chance of success.
I have considered doing a step by step plan for actually doing this for quite some time. It is on my idea board. Don’t think that I will now though.
The reason is that a friend of mine, Shane Dolby, who I met in Dallas this year and had known from various forums has beaten me to it. Not only did he beat me to it he did a fantastic job of it too :-(.
After reviewing what he has created I am jealous as hell. He has taken that idea and took it further than even I had considered. Now, I will tell you that Shane can be a bit verbose at times and does have a bit of an ego. Shane is retired from the Navy and I really believe all those years may have warped him even a bit more that I am.
