You shared a very important message Mike… that we as business owners need to use tactics and methods which are proven to work, and not some “get rich quick” scheme. Successful business models have been around for hundreds of years, we just need to adopt them to work online.

Good points Mike. Discover what works and use it. I have decided that there is no “get rich quick” scheme. All of the methods that work require work. So, we just need to work.

Gave up on the get rich schemes long ago. Looking for what works and using that as a blueprint seems to work very well. But I forget, why don’t I use that blueprint more often? -:) Thanks for sharing this link. Some very sound advice.

Looks like a great report.
I definitely prefer the blueprint type of ebooks as I like the step-by-step approach. It is so much easier if you have a plan in place and can work through that plan in a step-by-step method.

Failing forward (ie, trying something that doesn’t work) teaches you lessons that success never does (she said, having been making a living online now for 12+ years).
But..the thing to remember is just because something is proven to work for one person, that doesn’t mean it will work for another.
You also have to factor in your interests, your technical ability, your sales ability…actually, ANY ability that the proven method requires. For example, anything that requires Direct Selling (even if it’s been proven to work) would most likely fail miserably with me – it’s just not my style.
