Week In Review – January 16, 2010

  • Sharebar

Well two weeks into 2010 and I am still trying to write 2009. Old habits die hard but so far it has been a great start to the new year and decade.

Yesterday I did the last post for the blog tour and it has been a great time. While it was a bit of work to crank out an extra 5 posts a week it was good to travel around the internet.

Being publicly accountable had an advantage too. It eliminated procrastination and the need to be perfect. One of the reasons I think it is important to have an accountability partner.

Somehow when you have told someone else what you will be doing it gets done much more often than when you tell yourself.

Now to the blogs this week.

WordPress Made Easy

The PLR Secrets

What’s Hot

Sunday Night Cash Plan – If you want to be able to repurpose your content you need to check this out. Take any article or blog post you have created and easily make the content into a podcast and video to generate more traffic for your site.

Skyrocketing Tactics – Joel Osborne’s new PLR release that shows you exactly how to use resell rights profitably. Getting great reviews on the Warrior Forum and very limited copies so it will keep it’s value. The how to guide on The PLR Secrets blog will show you exactly how to use this.

Power Start 2010 – Doug Champigny has launched an intensive 4 week course to get your business off to a great start this year. First session starts February 1st and will be at a discount to future sessions. Will indeed be intense training but set up to help the person still working full time off line. You can listen to the teleseminar I did with Doug to see if his style fits you here.

Saturday Seven – This week the special product is The A – Z of Super Effect Sales Page. Sales pages that sell are the key to growing your business and this product comes with Master Resell Rights and as always just $7 but only until Monday night.

That is all for this week and look for more quality information now that the blog tour is over. The blog tour has been very good and has increased the number of subscribers to my blogs and rss feeds.

It is a bit of work to put together and follow through with but can be an excellent way to spread your message. If you are considering doing one I strongly recommend you check out Nicole Dean’s Blog World Tour Guide.

Good comments about getting it done. Procrastination is a huge problem for me. I enjoy your blog tour. You covered several different subjects and provide some good information at each stop. Congratulations. You did that and still had a very productive week. I don’t see much procrastination there. Looks like Doug has a winner coming up.

Mike, you’ve had another amazing week. I agree that being accountable makes you more productive. I’ve made myself accountable the past 2 weeks to do “work” that I’ve been promising myself for some time now. The only difference is that this time I’ve set myself firm deadlines.
I always love your week in review as it gives me a chance to get caught up.

Congrats on the great blog tour! Your right, if we can have someone who we are accountable to, it helps a lot to make sure we get our work done.

Glad to see you’ve decided to keep the Saturday review. It’s been a tough week and I am way behind on my blog monitoring. I like the one stop shop to keep up with your many insights.
