Week in Review – January 12, 2007
Activity is increasing and there have been quite a few launches and more in the wings. Personally I had one but it is not a huge launch but a rolling launch.
One of the problems in my humble opinion with the huge launches is that you get a bit of attention and then no one talks about it. How many of those have you seen over the last year or two? This is great for getting the product out and generating a lot of sales quickly but that does seem to be one of the problems. There is something new every day.
Then you never hear about the product again. In some cases that is good but if it is a quality product wouldn’t it be better to have it be promoted again and again? Maybe that is something to add here. Would you as a reader be interested in a monthly review of the products that have helped me but may have come out and disappeared because of all the new launch hype? Leave a comment if you would like that.
With 15 Minute Blog Traffic I ignored the build up and did not go out soliciting lots of testimonials. Because I did not do that so I priced it much lower than it’s true value. As I gather testimonials and people see the results that they can get the price will be going up to it’s actual value.
Enough dribble from The Old Bald Guy now to the news.
Internet Marketing Explained – Armand Morin is back and offering some excellent free information leading up to his launch. Don’t delay as he won’t have this information available for free forever but the information he has released is more valuable than quite a few paid products.
Search Engine Myths Exposed – A free report from Jonathan Leger that is worth the time to read. I like what Jonathan does because he uses actual case studies and cuts through the bull.
WordPress Lessons – My personal blog coaching course will close tonight.
Other items to check out
This week I have put up a bit over half of the series on picking your niche on Amplification Marketing. This is really one of the keys to making money and the one most often skipped.
This week on The Mike and Erik Show, Erik and I discussed getting your business started. Next week we will get back to interviews but felt for the new year that this was an important session to put out there.
If you get here early today I will be doing a seminar at Affiliate Funnel on blogging. These seminars are open to all members and the membership is free.
One of my goals this year is to supply more information of value through providing additional resources. Not all will be on this blog but I will be referencing other sources of quality information. Leave your comments and any topics you would like addressed.
Have a good week.

Mike,
Thanks for creating such an outstanding product to get traffic to my ailing blogs…
It is a sad sound to hear my blog crying itself to sleep every night out of sheer loneliness. But with 15 Minute Blog Traffic my blog sounds much happier at night! In fact, sometimes I have to tell it to keep it down because of all the fun going on there!
Keep up the great work, you are one of the guys I listen to when I am stumped about my blogging.
Thanks again!

Hi Mike,
I like that you are offering more information. I have the same goal. I’m sure I’m not the only one who hates to hear from someone only when they want to sell something to me.
I have noticed on your sidebar in the Other sites from MP, that you and Robert Puddy have several Niche blogs and sites set up.
My question is, do you build the sites from scratch, or are you using a template, or an article site creator software to do it?
The other question is, how are those niche sites working out for you? Are you generating traffic, adsense revenue, affiliate commissions?
I’m looking to increase my blog empire this year and your tips, advice and products have been a great help for me to get started.
Thanks,
Charles

Mike,
I’d love to see you discuss any products or services that have helped you over the years in a monthly review. Sure, there are a lot of great products coming out lately that show huge potential, but it’s always nice to hear about services that have already proved themselves.
Thanks for all the great information.
