Gotta love Wednesdays – NOT
Wednesday was one of those, “I have some good news for you and some bad news for you” type of days for me. The furnace guy came and gave me bad news, I need a new boiler and I need it now.
The good news was, he jury rigged it so my family won’t freeze while we wait for the new boiler to arrive
Why do things always seem to go wrong at the worst possible time? Winter is settling in. And while I don’t live in a frigid wasteland, it’s gets cold at night here in the Coal Region of Pennsylvania. In fact, they say its going to feel like -5 F tonight, that’s -20 Celsuis
And why does it have to happen two weeks before Christmas? Now, I am facing a $5000 bill that needs to be paid now. The furnace company doesn’t care that blogging and list building mentors like me are basically unemployed during the holiday season
Any other time of year, I would just tighten my belt a bit and things would work themselves out.
My woes can be a benefit to you.

Damn Mike that sucks!
Know kind of how you feel though as I have had several things happen this year, most of which all happened in a month including the engine going out in my van and our 25 cubic foot chest freezer going out along with a few other things.
Not quite the same as yours though.
If there is anything I can do let me know.

I guess when it rains it pours. I just had the engine trouble light come on in my jeep. Don’t know yet what that will cost. Can’t get it look at until next Wednesday. Hope the jury rig holds.

Sorry to hear it, Mike – hope you, Maude & the turtles stay warm til the new boiler comes! But the fact that a $5k expense is even noticeable shows you’ve been giving out too much great content for too little return – time to up your mentoring rates!

Good Luck on your special offers Mike, Makes my car repair look trivial, and shows how desperately I need to start making some bucks and reestablish an emergency fund.

Sorry to hear about your woes also Mike. I think thought with the special you are running you might be able to handle that whole payment with the help you are offering. Someone would do well to take you up on such a generous offer. good luck and I hope things work out.

It’s true, things always break down when you need them most. I can relate as my PC is giving me all sorts of grief. Now to repair my computer is nowhere near as expensive as your furnace – so I feel for you. Stay warm and hope your special offer goes well
