Business Building Basics
Yesterday I wrote about the launches and today I wanted to talk about the basics of making money on line. I am a big fan of Marlon Sanders and his methods.
What I like is how he cuts to the core as you can see from the quote below.
“Making money online is NOT complex.
You get people on your LIST. You send emails asking ‘em to buy. And if that doesn’t work, you use blog posts, podcasts, videos, Twitterr messages, teleseminars and webinars that ask ‘em to buy.”
Now that is a great overview of the process but of course there are in between steps. Things like…
- Finding your ideal buyer
- Offering them something they really want
- Getting them on to your list
Just for a start.
It doesn’t matter whether you are selling your own product or as an affiliate the process is the same. Get it right and the business can be easy. Miss a step and it can be extremely frustrating to say the least.
Now for some this may seem very basic but I know that the basics are important.
Getting your basics right is one of the keys and too many people miss out on the very first step finding your ideal buyer and where to find them. Skip this (and I have more than once before learning this hard lesson) and you will struggle unless you get lucky.
When it comes to luck I always seem to find Mr Murphy
so it is much better for me to not depend on luck.
If you promotions are not going as well as you would like I recommend you check out Marlon’s Promo Dashboard where you can go step by step through all that you need.
