Adding integration marketing
Today we’ll discuss adding integration marketing to your business. This will help you add additional income sources to what you currently do.
Yesterday was one of those rare week days when I did not blog at all. Not here, not on the WordPress blog and even the Turtles were quiet (not that they make a lot of noise other than splashing normally
.
I will be launching a new product tomorrow so I was quite busy making sure that everything was working, that all the downloads work, you know all the fun things that have lead to me having no hair because I have pulled it out. More on that tomorrow <evil grin>.
Today will be an integration marketing day so that I maximize things tomorrow when I kick it out the door. Let’s talk about integration marketing.
Integration marketing can be used a number of ways. Things like..
-
Thank you page ads
-
Email swaps in your autoresponder with others
-
Log in/log out ads for membership sites
-
Adding a bonus folder in zip downloads, etc.
One of the best sources out there for finding and adding these types of things is Instant Bonus Pages. You can find a number of items that you can add to your pages in one place.
Because this site will be a membership site I went to Membership Gold Rush and made sure that I reviewed the section my buddy Soren Jordansen wrote on integration marketing in your membership site. He covers 14 potential integration points in any membership site.
I wanted to make sure that I didn’t omit any area that could add profits to my new site. (After all I worked hard to get this ready why skimp on the little things.)
So the point today is don’t overlook the integration points in your business . This can be a bonus ad on your download page, adding a bonus folder to your zip downloads or to any other place you may think of.
Here is your action plan to apply what is here.
-
Go join Instant Bonus Pages if you don’t already belong. (It’s free but do check the upgrade there are some great benefits)
-
Grab Membership Gold Rush – the one section from Soren is worth more than the purchase but at the least grab the first module which is free so you understand about membership sites. It is one of the better business models to follow.
-
Start adding the integration to your business. Even if it is just to add one of the thank you page ads to your download page but DO SOMETHING TODAY.
That all for now but remember that you need to take action to get results so Git’r Done.

Great tips Mike,
I also try to keep as many options for additional revenue as I can think of. I include bonuses on my thank-you pages and download pages when people grab my free reports. Occasionally I will add an OTO in as well if I can find related products.
I also include either an additional resources or bonus folder in all of my zipped downloads(and sometimes both).
I actually picked up Jeff Dedrick’s Hidden Sale Project a couple of years back when it first came out and have learned quite a bit from it.
Will have to take a look at Soren’s Membership Gold Rush. Sounds very interesting.

Mike, good information in this post. I am going to have to look into integration marketing more. I think I have used it on thank you pages and in download zip files and didn’t even know it.

Actually Membership Gold Rush is from Cindy Battye. Soren contributed the section on integration and has done it very well on his various membership sites.

I too have been a happy user of Instant bonus pages. Its a quick and easy way to add additional revenue punch from various projects. That said, there’s no reason why you couldn’t create your own targeted package offers and save them on your hard drive for repeated use. May take a little more juggling but doable. But I am lazy and the Bonus pages are quick and easy to set up.

I do some integration marketing, but I think there’s always more that can be done. I like the idea of giving away extra bonuses in your download file, bonuses that are free, but offer some kind of upsell which offers a commission.

Great post, Mike – one of the things that separates the big dogs from most Internet marketers is how they maximize monetization of their sites, as you’re doing here.
An important note for affiliate marketers is that this same system works well for you too – when giving away free resources to build your lists, be sure to monetize your confirmation page, download page and download zip as Mike recommends!

I have not really paid to much attention to Integration Marketing so far so I am really behind the eight ball. I can see the benefits and will have to pay more attention and do more reading to understand it better. Thanks for the Git’r Done step.
