Something different

This has nothing to do with marketing or list building but was a neat site I found and enjoyed.

Every once in a while you find a neat little site while surfing the web.Now I am not left handed but have a daughter and step son that are.  I have seen the aggravation they go through when trying to be a southpaw in a right handed world.I can remember the temper tantrum I suffered through when my daughter was young and we were shopping for a ball glove so she could play softball.  There we are standing in the store and she saw the glove of her dreams.  Unfortunately, it was only available in a right handed model.

  • A quick aside- My daughter is a Taurus and a full blown one at that,  She was also only about 8 years old at this time. (Fortunately for me she is now all grown up and her husband gets to deal with her stubbornness not me.)

The argument, crying, stamping of feet that ensued was something to see.  (Of course there wasn’t much humor in it if your were the focal point of it.;-)).  Finally, I just decided that this would be a task for another day as I had lost all of my patience quite quickly and we left.

It wasn’t the first time and surely wasn’t the last.

The point is that if you are a southpaw or have a child that is you will have problems with this all too often.  It doesn’t matter whether it is scissors or a serrated knife (Just try cutting something straight with the bevel on the wrong side.)– finding left handed items can be a real chore.

That is what attracted me to this site, Anything Left Handed.

Not only do they have a huge variety of items for lefties they also have a wide variety of articles including some neat surveys and the response to do you have problems kissing was quite entertaining.

If you are left handed or have a loved one who is take the time to check out the site.  You can find the articles under the LH Info tab at the top.

Even though this wasn’t about list building or marketing I hope you looked at the site and realize you can build a business around any topic.  Too many people try to compete in the very tiny area of selling to other marketers.  Take the time to expand your horizons and take the techniques and apply them to an area you love.
