Do you take action?

One of the best ways to increase your efforts is to find others and to leverage each others assets.  This is part of the reason that the “Good Old Boy’s Network” is so effective.  Now before you get all upset and start hollering at this old bald guy there are female members of the GOBN too.

Developing relationships with like minded people allows you to leverage each other.  Do this and you will often find that one and one sometimes equals more than two.

The seminar I will be holding on Tuesday is a perfect example.  Instead of having our normal teaching seminar, Michel Lavergne will be interviewing me.  Now, a month or so ago he had contacted me and asked if he could interview me to create a joint email series.  We got together and decided to take it up a level.

Now we will do this interview live.  That creates a seminar for my members of Opt In Master Course.  We will record it and it gives me content for a podcast which I can use to promote Opt In Master Course.  Michel and I both get the recording which we will transcribe to create an email series that we both can use.

Now Michel has something to use as a give away to generate new subscribers.  We both created content and can cross promote each other.

Now the question is why would I respond to Michel to start with?  First he asked.  Second, Michel has shown that he will take action on help that is given to him.

There was a seminar a few months ago that was attended by 30 + people.  One of the ideas discussed was to create an e-book for a program you like and use it as a give away to build your list.  The next week Michel had one out and was using it for a traffic exchange he likes.  He was the ONLY one.

What can you learn from this?

Gathering knowledge and taking no action is worthless.  If you are actually doing something people notice and will be more than happy to help you.   I owe most of my success to help I have received from others.  I was able to get it though because I asked then acted on what I was told.  Do you?
